SEARCHERS AFTER WEIRD POETRY HAUNT STRANGE, FAR PLACES

Charles (Danny) Lovecraft of P'rea Press will conduct a workshop for fantasy poetry enthusiasts and authors at Continuum 7, focusing on fantasy poetry, its form and expression, how it may differ from other poetry, and why it is important for fantasy fans. Participant discussion will be encouraged and there will be an opportunity for writing practice. Printed fantasy poems will be provided.

Searchers After Weird Poetry Haunt Strange, Far Places: A Fantasy Poetry Workshop will be on at 10am Monday 13 June 2011, at ether, lower level, 285 Little Bourke Street, Melbourne.

Danny Lovecraft will also be reading from his own latest fantastic poem, "The Kudos of the Universe," 2pm Saturday 11 June 2011 at Continuum 7, location as above.

WHAT RHYMES WITH CORPSE?

Kyla Ward proposed this fascinating poetry panel for Continuum 7. Panellists with her will be Talie Helene, Earl Livings, and Charles (Danny) Lovecraft.

The panel will be held 10am Saturday 11 June 2011, at ether, lower level, 285 Little Bourke Street, Melbourne.

Kyla Ward's The Land of Bad Dreams, a weird poetry collection, will be published by P'rea Press in September 2011.

Melbourne's annual speculative fiction and pop culture convention, Continuum 7 – Changing Consciousness will be held 10 to 13 June 2011.

As an Australian fantasy poetry publisher, P'rea Press will be part of a panel, will also present a workshop, a reading and offer sales of books at the convention.
